STIC is a unique scientific institution committed to quality and service. Ever since its establishment in 1995, STIC has been making continuous efforts to provide best possible technical/scientific services to the society in terms of calibration, testing, material/chemical analysis and extension activities. Of late, STIC has repositioned itself as a Research and Development organization providing high end scientific services with in-house research output. STIC thrives to do justice to the defined aims and objectives of the institution and rise to the expectations of the two organizations that have sponsored STIC, viz. Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (Govt. of Kerala) and Cochin University of Science & Technology. STIC is on its way to be a self-supporting, institution providing high end scientific/ technical/analytical services to the needy, thus helping India become a scientifically and technologically advanced nation.
